Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aftermarket Mechanic to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation. As an Aftermarket Mechanic, you will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and evaluating field return units, as well as performing functional testing and configuration control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, and evaluate field return units
  • Perform functional testing and configuration control
  • Assist in configuration control and assure compliance with assembly instructions, overhaul manuals, and technical orders
  • Set up and operate all types of units
  • Prepare paperwork and computer records for identification and traceability of components
  • Clean, disassemble, evaluate, assemble, test, troubleshoot, certify, and button-up Aftermarket components and complex subassemblies
  • Work from test specifications, blueprints, or special directives from Engineering
  • Provide source data to CAs for job cost estimates
  • Execute daily assembly and test assignments as directed
  • Confer with manufacturing engineers and supervision to ensure deviations from routine are authorized
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work with, repair, and build wiring harnesses with solderless and solder type connections
  • Able to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Must be capable and willing to instruct other employees within the areas of primary function
  • Must be able to work with both red oil and Skydrol oils
  • Shall be capable and shall be willing to be certified and qualified in multiple product families
