Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our community is in compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to resident care, medication management, and infection control.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other clinical staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care, reduce risk, and promote resident safety.
  • Business Growth: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, provincial and board of nursing requirements. Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their demonstrated skill capability and in compliance with all regulations.
