Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Community Services Provider to join our team. As a Community Services Provider, you will work with clients to provide therapeutic day treatment, home-based, mentoring, or other community services as assigned. This is a 10-month position with school-based hours.
Responsibilities- Provide and document behavioral and mental health interventions as required in client's Individualized Services Plan (ISP) and by funding source.
- Receive clinical consultation/supervision regarding community services from a licensed mental health professional.
- Conduct face-to-face assessments with clients and receive clinical review of each assessment by an LMHP.
- Provide and document therapies and services as required in a client's service plan.
- Participate in all required supervision and trainings.
- Maintain Board of Counseling certification as a QMHP-C or QMHP-Trainee.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to client needs and exhibit consistent personal integrity in dealings with clients, families, co-workers, and community agencies.
- Help to obtain and maintain documentation required by licensing and/or Medicaid.
- Represent Elk Hill at FAPT, CPMT, VCOPPA, VAISSEF, vendor fairs, and other marketing, community, or professional events/organizations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, required.
- Certification by the Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child or Qualified Mental Health Professional-Trainee, or education and experience that meet the current certification requirements.
- Home-based, therapeutic day treatment, or other community-based service and Medicaid experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
- Exhibit high level of organizational skills and willingness to travel and possibly work non-traditional business hours.
