Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Oversee a team of over 15 personnel
  • Manage financial budgets, labor planning, and cost control measures
  • Foster a robust safety culture to ensure a secure work environment
  • Lead and supervise the onsite team across various shifts
  • Organize and communicate daily operational priorities and client needs
  • Set clear employee expectations, provide training and constructive feedback, and conduct regular facility inspections
  • Enhance team members' effectiveness and skills in operational training and supervisory roles
  • Collaborate with shift leaders to ensure service execution
  • Oversee supply, chemical, and equipment usage, ensuring proper training
  • Utilize data to identify operational improvements for optimization
  • Maintain necessary administrative tasks for reporting purposes
  • Drive performance management in areas such as hiring, setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and implementing disciplinary actions when required
  • Identify opportunities to boost revenue through additional or periodic services
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent military experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in janitorial or facilities management is preferred
  • Experience in facility services or building management
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations is essential
  • Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of business principles and basic accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Previous custodial experience is desirable
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish proficiency is preferred but not mandatory

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., maneuvering in tight spaces, and standing or walking for 8-10 hours daily in varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures
