Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Utility team member to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #44. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient operation by meeting high-volume dishwashing demands and maintaining a clean and sanitized bakery.

Responsibilities
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize all baking pans, dishes, utensils, and other tools in a thorough and timely manner, adhering to all Nothing Bundt Cakes and local health department standards.
  • Monitor sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Gather and remove garbage, sweep and mop floors, and clean floor drains.
  • Perform routine cleaning of various locations within the bakery, including the refrigerator, chiller, break area, dish pit area, oven, and bathroom as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, ensuring all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the start and end of each shift.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management in a timely manner when replenishment is required.
  • Assist in the unloading, processing, and storage of the weekly supply delivery.
  • Support other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to personal hygiene.
  • Assist the baking team as needed when all tasks in the dish pit area have been completed.
  • Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No experience necessary; we will train on site.
  • Previous experience within a bakery or restaurant kitchen setting is a plus.
  • Must obtain a food handlers permit once hired.
Work Availability
  • Must have the availability to work 25-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
  • Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, Monday-Friday, between 8:00AM and 5:00PM.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays if needed due to higher business volume.
  • Must be able to work additional hours during the holiday season as needed.
