Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic Purchasing team at Orgill Inc. As a key member of our team, you will assist in all facets of product source selection and procurement functions, ensuring seamless inventory management and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in replenishment and promotional orders to meet category financial objectives, including service level, turnover, and distressed merchandise mitigation.
  • Monitor individual distribution center SKU productivity and take action to improve inventory performance, working closely with merchandising counterparts to ensure new items and promotions are properly executed.
  • May be assigned replenishment responsibilities as experience allows.
  • Responsible for expediting vendor freight whenever necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office tools and the Google Platform.
  • Experience with inventory replenishment systems and data reporting systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives with little or no supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with the ability to review facts and weigh options when solving problems and making decisions.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
  • Ability to organize materials, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related area.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar field.
  • Must be willing to travel to Company Dealer Markets and other Company-related functions as needed.
