Job Title: Radiology Technician

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using appropriate patient positioning, technique selection, contrast media, immobilization, and radiation protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using appropriate patient positioning, technique selection, contrast media, immobilization, and radiation protection.
  • Evaluate finished images for technical quality and confirm physician orders.
  • Consult with Radiologists as necessary and identify patient, introduce self, and explain procedure to be performed.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies in work areas and perform clerical procedures as needed.
  • Transport patients as necessary and orient staff as appropriate.
  • Function as contact person for the facility Radiation Safety Program and perform Radiation Safety Program safety monitoring and device tracking.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered (R) from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
