Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Radiology X-Ray Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp. As a Radiology X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, prioritizing patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Respond to and report changes in patient condition as necessary.
  • Implement techniques to yield clarity in images, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider; BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
