Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Davis Development, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This includes anticipating, identifying, and correcting any problems involving the property and implementing procedures to prevent such issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all maintenance tasks for units and equipment
Oversee the entire Maintenance Team
Manage work orders to ensure timely completion
Confirm apartments are updated and move-in ready
Perform mechanical walks for construction
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Schedule vendors and contractors and work side-by-side with construction to address issues
Use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials
Inspect the condition of physical properties throughout the community and correct unsafe conditions

Requirements:

Two or more years of maintenance experience in multi-family property management (strongly preferred)
EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required
Effective verbal and written communication skills via all communication channels
Ability to lift equipment and appliances up to 50 lbs
Must be able to take calls for emergency requests
Must have a valid driver's license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other duties
Will drive a golf cart
Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate
