Position Overview:
The Part-Time Sales Associate at UPS Store # is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to all retail clients. This role involves managing the receipt and processing of packages for courier shipment, as well as operating various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both walk-in clients and those reaching out via phone.
- Practice effective listening skills to understand customer needs and collaborate with team members and management.
- Take ownership of customer shipping requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Continuously learn about all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Operate all equipment and software proficiently and assist in training others.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written, including spelling and basic math.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
- Availability to work 25 to 30 hours per week across a 6-day work week.
