Position Summary
The Surgical Technician in Obstetrics plays a crucial role in assisting surgeons during cesarean sections and ensuring that the surgical environment is properly equipped for these procedures. This role also involves cleaning, wrapping, and sending surgical instruments for sterilization, maintaining stocked labor and delivery rooms, and providing support to Labor and Delivery nurses as required. While most situations are routine, the role may involve rapid transitions to critical or emergent scenarios. Independent decision-making is essential for executing daily responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
- Ability to secure a Surgical Technician License within 90 days of employment
- Current Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in Obstetrics or the Operating Room

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $45.77 USD, influenced by factors such as skills, experience, and certifications.
