Uphold departmental targets aligned with organizational goals.

Utilize knowledge of OSHA standards to create safe and ergonomically sound machines/systems.
Comply with NFPA/NEC electrical codes to ensure machines are built according to regulations.
Interpret schematics, Bills of Materials, drawings, and manufacturer instructions to attain desired outcomes.
Document modifications on engineering records.
Wire control panels, enclosures, and electrical devices under the supervision of a Lead Electrical Builder.
Connect all electrical components on machinery.
Under the guidance of an electrical engineer, adjust electrical prototypes to rectify functional discrepancies.
Demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, and mechanical and electronic testing equipment to verify product standards.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Follow Work Instructions and keep Checklists updated.
Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical failures in operational equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance as necessary.
Test and fine-tune electrical assemblies and connections.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical systems to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Assemble and evaluate experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, FRLs, valve banks, and other electrical and pneumatic components.
Label and direct pneumatic tubing/hoses from cylinders to valve banks.
Route main piping for air distribution.
Install and plumb pneumatic devices such as check valves, regulators, vacuum generators, pressure switches, and others.
Install and maintain machines at customer locations as required.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
At least two years of experience in wiring machinery or equivalent background.
Able to interpret schematics effectively.
Strong communication and mathematical skills.
Familiarity with OSHA and NEC regulations.

Equipment:
General knowledge of various hand tools, including crimpers and soldering tools.
Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, various gauges, and electronic testing devices – voltage regulators, amp meters, etc.
Computer systems.

Working Conditions – The employee may encounter high noise levels and/or physical hazards while working on the manufacturing floor.
