We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team at Electra, a rapidly growing aerospace startup company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving transformative projects and managing contracts from inception to fruition.
Responsibilities- Drive R&D Customer Contracts from beginning to end, ensuring compliance with internal and government regulations, while mitigating business risk.
- Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts directly with customer counterparts, supporting the business development teams during the proposal process.
- Establish and maintain Subcontracts, collaborating with supply chain and program teams to draft, negotiate, and formalize subcontracts.
- Formalize partnerships, drafting and negotiating partnership agreements with strategic customers or major suppliers.
- Empower Contracts Administration, maintaining a repository of legal templates and providing ad-hoc legal support to ensure compliance across the board.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in contract management or relevant disciplines.
- Expertise in U.S. government contracts and FARs, with a focus on Small Business Programs.
- Experience with U.S. export control laws.
- Strong negotiation skills and a knack for communication.
- Ability to lead contract execution independently and uphold the highest ethical standards.
- US Citizenship or Green Card required.
Electra offers a competitive salary range of $81,000 to $181,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
