Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional services to K-12 students in Portland, OR. As a School SLP, you will conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy and intervention in individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention in individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achieve academic and communication goals.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
