Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant - Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering basic care to patients, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting effective communication with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver basic care to patients as directed, ensuring a clean and safe environment
* Assist licensed personnel in providing direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrate effective communication with other members of the healthcare team and promote effective team functioning
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, using and caring for equipment and supplies economically

Requirements

* Currently holds a Florida certificate as a Nursing Assistant or has completed a Nursing Assistant course and is scheduled to take the Florida State exam, and will obtain certification within four months (120 days) from date of hire
* American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider certification upon hire and maintain certification
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
