Key Responsibilities:

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing hedge fund tax compliance engagements, ensuring thorough consideration of risk, operational, and tax technical matters
  • Conducting research on tax legislation and articulating its implications for asset management clients as part of your contributions to tax consulting initiatives

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • CPA designation preferred or progress towards CPA completion
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a public accounting environment
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns, including Schedules K-1 and K-3
  • Experience in calculating taxable income and partnership allocations for private funds
  • Basic understanding of wash sales, straddles, carried interest, and incentive allocations
  • Familiarity with distribution waterfalls
