**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer to develop and manage engineering studies, cost estimates, contract plans, and proposals for bridges and related items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement engineering studies, cost estimates, and contract plans for bridges and related items.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Supervise and appraise bureau personnel and/or consultants to maintain productivity and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
  • Research and evaluate design methods, technology, and construction practices to provide recommendations for safe, practical, and economical bridges and roadways.

**Requirements:**

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least three years of work experience in civil engineering, with a concentration in structural engineering, post Professional Engineer licensure.
  • Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Hampshire or obtain licensure within one year of employment.
