Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Float Staff to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the Eugene, Oregon area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with I/DD in a float capacity, including providing companionship, personalized care, and promoting independence and self-care.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
  • Implement positive behavior supports and prepare meals and snacks.
  • Perform light household duties and provide mobility and transfer assistance, including using mechanical lift devices.
  • Accompany individuals on community activities and outings and assist with transportation needs.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a DSP or caregiver, preferably in residential services.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle to travel between programs and provide transportation to clients.
  • Ability to learn different supports, from medical to behavioral.
  • Passion for helping others and working independently.
  • Dependable and adaptable with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and provide references.
  • 18 years of age or older.
