Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at BestLogic Staffing. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and supplies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Source and purchase off-the-shelf supplies, tools, and materials at the most competitive prices while ensuring they meet quality standards and conform to approved requisitions.
  • Supplier Management: Work with approved suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain relationships to ensure a reliable supply of necessary materials and tools. Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries to support production schedules.
  • Inventory Support: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to manage stock levels, ensuring sufficient supply of materials while minimizing excess inventory and costs.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the purchasing process without compromising quality. Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, orders, and supplier agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards throughout the procurement process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
