Job Overview

Volt is seeking a skilled Metallurgical Technician to join our team in Mossville, IL.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $30.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of ferrous microstructures produced by various heat treat processes.
  • Experience in micro sample preparation, hardness testing, and utilization of an inverted microscope (Up to 1000X).
  • Computer skills including basic PC skills, experience in MS Word / Excel, and digital metallographic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


The successful candidate will work with a team dedicated to analyzing parts and material for conformance to established criteria, in support of high velocity manufacturing.
