Bristol Myers Squibb is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our Medical Evidence Generation (MEG) Clinical Research Collaborations (CRC) team. As the Director, Clinical Research Collaborations, you will play a critical role in bridging our company to the best external science through collaborations with academic institutions and networks of practicing clinicians.

The successful candidate will co-lead cross-functional efforts focused on creating an optimal engine for identifying, ideating, and actively sourcing clinical research collaborations that will address critical evidence gaps for BMS's Hematology/Cell Therapy assets. You will build relationships with external thought leaders and design and drive strategies to successfully advance external research that will accelerate the development of BMS's pipeline.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Clinical Research Collaborations (CRCs), from concept ideation to governance approval and throughout the study lifecycle
  • Acting as a point of contact for CRCs with certain assets/indications in Hematology/Cell Therapy
  • Designing and driving strategies to accelerate the development of BMS's Hematology/Cell Therapy pipeline leveraging external research platforms, technologies, and insights
  • Aligning with and advising senior functional and therapeutic area leaders on new external opportunities that will inform strategy and influence decisions in the creation of integrated evidence generation plans
  • Contributing to the evolution of MEG Hematology/Cell Therapy therapeutic area strategy and value proposition

Requirements include an advanced scientific degree (MD, MD/PhD, PhD, PharmD, or the equivalent) with extensive, relevant scientific and/or clinical experience and subject matter expertise in Hematology and/or Cell Therapy. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to develop and sustain relationships with external investigators and collaborative partners globally, as well as competently balancing business and scientific acumen complemented by strong leadership behaviors, authenticity, agility, and an enterprise mindset.
