Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with dentists and hygienists to provide high-quality patient care
  • Assist with dental procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification
