Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a challenging and rewarding position in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU, including those with cardiovascular disease, pre/post cath lab and IR procedures, and fresh open heart surgery.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patients' vital signs and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on CVICU or critical care.
- Experience with IABP, fresh open heart surgery, and other specialized procedures and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 13 weeks, with flexibility to extend up to 26 weeks.
