Big West Oil is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Process Controls Engineering Intern. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students interested in process control systems and refinery operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the refinery's process control systems
- Conduct research on process control projects and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and review process control systems and safety integrity systems
- Assist engineers in designing, configuring, and implementing process control solutions
- Perform simulations to analyze potential process optimizations
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university, with a focus on a degree related to process control or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
