Overview:

This position is dedicated to serving as a testing resource within the laboratory, providing support to existing technicians and delivering testing services essential for the production and certification of products. Additionally, this role will aid in the upkeep of documentation related to test outcomes, procedures, and the calibration of tools and equipment.

Shift Details: 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Specialist (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivers precise and prompt test results while assisting production with in-process evaluations.
  • Maintains comprehensive quality records and procedural documentation.
  • Conducts standard testing in a laboratory setting as required.
  • Certifies physical properties for clients and generates compliance certificates.
  • Oversees records of calibration and repair, and performs calibrations on tools and equipment.
  • Manages laboratory inventory of testing consumables.
  • Assesses compliance of materials against established specifications.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in data analysis and familiar with database software.
  • Experience with quality assurance and laboratory testing instruments.
