About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Assertive Professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of our databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the security and integrity of multiple databases
  • Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis, and tuning
  • Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring database security and integrity
  • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes
  • Establish and maintain database user accounts
  • Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability
  • Provide server administration with a variety of database products
Requirements
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Ten (10) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Four (4) years of additional database administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • 10 years of experience installing and maintaining Oracle
  • 5 years of experience with Oracle streams and distributed databases
  • 5 years of experience writing stored procedures
  • 5 years of experience using PL/SQL
  • 5 years developing database schemas
