Job Title: Database Engineer II

About the Role:
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer II to join our innovative team. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure. Your expertise in database management systems, particularly MongoDB and MariaDB, will be crucial in ensuring the scalability and performance of our database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database solutions using MongoDB and MariaDB
  • Deploy and manage database instances
  • Debug and optimize database performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions meet business requirements

Requirements:
  • Current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly MongoDB and MariaDB
  • Strong understanding of database design and optimization principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python, Django, or Flask
  • Knowledge of REST endpoint development and micro-service models
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or C2S
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerization
