Airport Civil Engineer Role Summary

This role involves designing and managing various civil projects at airports throughout the U.S. and abroad. As an Airfield Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on geometric design of runways, taxiways, and aprons, bituminous and concrete pavement design, stormwater and utility infrastructure design, and construction administration/management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Initiate and maintain client contact.
  • Assist the team in winning work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent disciplines from an accredited ABET university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with 4+ years in Civil design, preferably at airport-related facilities.
  • PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting.
  • Effective team-focused associate that will foster teamwork, help set priorities, and define expectations.
  • Good organization and motivation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel across the region to existing/potential Airport Clients.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for use in completing an assignment.

Estimated Salary Range

$107,792 to $146,855, commensurate with experience relative to the position.
