Key Responsibilities- Customer Service and Sales: Create a welcoming environment for customers, respond to their inquiries and needs, and consistently deliver high levels of customer service.
- Staff Management: Supervise and motivate staff to achieve store goals, provide guidance and training to improve customer engagement, and demonstrate leadership by providing excellent customer service.
- Store Operations: Conduct new employee orientations, train and coach staff, and utilize company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with management to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business, and provide direction, support, and feedback to staff.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including planning and adjusting schedules to maximize sales and meet payroll expectations.
- Merchandising and Sales Promotions: Plan, coordinate, and execute all merchandising and sales promotions in a timely manner, ensuring pricing and signage information is accurate.
- Experience: 1-2 years of retail management experience, with supervisory and training/coaching skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds, and work in cold areas.
