About the Role:
As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care. You will work collaboratively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
