Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team at Adapt Integrated Health Care. As a certified clinical professional, you will provide direct client services, including screenings, assessments, and treatment plans for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the complexities of addiction and be able to provide compassionate and effective support to patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working in an outpatient setting, providing individual and group counseling sessions, as well as conducting intake assessments and creating treatment plans.

  • Facilitate groups using education, discussion, and group process, focusing on emotional, social, and family issues relevant to clients suffering from substance use disorders.
  • Complete client documentation in a timely manner, utilizing electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Provide regular status reports to referral sources and community partners.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MHACBO Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I, II, or III status or equivalent.
