Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housing Program Assistant to join our team at Respond Inc. This role will provide support in various aspects of our Housing program, ensuring timely service and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide referrals for other services, conduct needs evaluations, and resolve client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a consistent and effective program, ensuring positive staff-client communication and a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Collect rent fees and follow up with tenants as necessary to collect late rents, sending out late notices as required.
  • Assist with housing inspections and prioritize work orders for the Respond Housing program.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree.
  • At least one year of experience working with tenants.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn program-specific software programs.
  • Web-based computing experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $16 - $17 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the buildings.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
