Job Summary

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time staff position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in gerontological nursing.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in gerontological nursing, including experience working with dementia populations.
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
