Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join their team. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing boilers and tanks using various techniques and tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Align and assemble boiler frames, tanks, and vats using plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and turnbuckles.
- Install manholes, handholds, valves, gauges, and feed water connections in drums to complete the assembly of water tube boilers.
- Repair boilers and tanks in the field by unbolting or flame cutting defective sections or tubes, and straightening plates.
- Assist in testing assembled vessels by pumping water or gas under specified pressure and observing instruments for evidence of leakage.
