**Job Summary**

As a Boilermaker at Brown & Root, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing boilers and tanks. Your duties will include aligning structures and plates, installing manholes and valves, and testing assembled vessels.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Align structures or plates to assemble boiler frame, tanks or vats using plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs or turnbuckles
* Install manholes, handholds, valves, gauges and feed water connection in drums to complete assembly of water tube boilers
* Repair boilers or tanks in field by unbolting or flame cutting defective sections or tubes, straightening plates
* Assist in testing assembled vessels by pumping water or gas under specified pressure into vessels and observing instruments for evidence of leakage

**Requirements**

* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
