Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Overhead Door. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products to specifications, mentoring and training colleagues, and ensuring the quality of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products to specifications, using blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and work orders.
  • Mentor and train colleagues to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Master all assembly functions of designated departments and use power and hand tools as required.
  • Meet work standards as established by the department and monitor the quality of raw materials and manufactured products.
  • Read and interpret work orders and identify and inspect required components for assembly.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
  • 12+ months of related experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
  • Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.

Education:

  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
