Assembly Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Overhead Door. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products to specifications according to blueprints and drawings, BOMs, and work orders. You will also mentor and train other team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble products to specifications according to blueprints and drawings, BOMs, and work orders
• Mentor and train other team members
• Use power and hand tools required
• Meet work standards as established by the department
• Monitor for quality of raw material and the manufacture of a quality product
• Ability to meet production standards
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Identify and inspect required components for assembly

Requirements:

• Able to read and understand work instructions in English
• 12+ months related experience
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds
• Preferred High School Diploma or GED
