Job Description:

  • Leadership & Supervision:
  • Supervise all nursing staff to maintain a supportive and professional environment.
  • Oversee nursing employee conduct and ensure ongoing staff development.
  • Policy & Procedures:
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Staff Management:
  • Manage the hiring, training, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Monitor staffing levels to meet resident needs and maintain current staff competencies.
  • Resident Care:
  • Assess the health needs of each resident and oversee care plans.
  • Be knowledgeable about incidents and address them promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience (required).
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
