Job Summary:

Recharge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Solar Construction Manager to join an excellent Solar Contractor in Florida. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of solar construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and review construction proposals and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Monitor and oversee daily job progress, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Organize and manage project schedules, including coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee the purchasing and tracking of materials to maintain continuous project operations.
  • Arrange on-site testing and inspections with engineering services as required.
  • Schedule meetings with clients and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Enforce company policies and standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage project and employee schedules for construction activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Monitor and secure job site materials daily, preventing loss or damage.
  • Ensure rough and final inspections are scheduled and passed, meeting quality control standards.
  • Negotiate and manage large purchase orders, securing necessary materials and equipment.
  • Secure long-lead-time items to prevent delays in project progress, ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure crews have the necessary equipment to complete jobs each day, maintaining productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Construction Manager in the solar industry, with a strong understanding of solar construction principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel to project sites, including the Caribbean, as required.
