Position Overview

Aspen Medical is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to deliver essential medical services to UN-sponsored personnel and US Government staff. This role will be stationed at a field hospital in a secure environment, ensuring high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of a specialized team operating within a well-equipped facility, where all medical services will adhere to US clinical standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive medical care to patients in a field hospital setting.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: All applicants must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship is not available.
  • Education: A Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Clinical Medicine and Community Health, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific or medical field, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification: Valid certifications based on the country of licensure, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
  • License: A current, valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the candidate's country or another UN member state.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in the specialty area.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Haitian Creole and/or French is highly preferred, with a secondary language being an advantage.
  • English Proficiency: A minimum of Level B2 is required.
Contract Details

This position operates on a 1099 contractor basis, offering a fixed daily rate during the rotation period. Please note that compensation will not be provided during off-rotation periods.
