Salary
The expected salary for this role is $29-32 per hour, based on industry standards and experience levels.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Associate to contribute to the development of proprietary implants, instrumentation, and design automation systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 3D modeling, CAD design, and a strong understanding of anatomy.

Responsibilities
  • Import and analyze patient CT data
  • Perform complex 3D modeling of patient anatomy and implants
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clinical specialists to complete designs
  • Create surface and solid CAD models according to specifications
  • Work with a design team and individually on CAD projects
  • Review and adjust CAD models with the customer
  • Interface with key production and testing suppliers
  • Produce Design Control documentation
  • Complete job reports
  • Other Research and Design activities as determined by management

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, visual-spatial skills, and proficiency in CAD software. Experience in the medical device sector or related field is highly desirable.
