Overview
Carlsmed is a leading healthcare company that aims to improve patient care through personalized medical devices and surgery platforms. We are seeking a talented Design Associate to contribute to our mission.

Job Summary
This role involves working on the development of proprietary implants, instrumentation, and design automation systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 3D modeling, CAD design, and anatomy, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine 3D models of patient anatomy and implants
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clinicians to deliver designs
  • Create detailed CAD models and specifications
  • Work closely with customers to review and adjust designs
  • Interface with suppliers for production and testing
  • Document design control and produce job reports

Requirements
An associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. Strong skills in CAD software, anatomy, and problem-solving are essential. Experience in the medical device sector or related field is highly valued.
