Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is a comprehensive recruiting role within Entergy's Talent Acquisition team, responsible for sourcing candidates, screening applicants, managing the interview process, and negotiating job offers for various craft and professional roles across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for assigned job openings to ensure successful candidate sourcing, screening, interview management, and offer negotiation.
  • Independently manage all phases of the hiring process from job requisition to offer acceptance for assigned roles.
  • Conduct detailed intake sessions with hiring managers to gather insights and create tailored marketing and sourcing plans.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive candidate screening strategy utilizing various assessment tools.
  • Interview candidates to determine suitability for roles, ensuring alignment with qualifications and organizational needs.
  • Foster strong communication and relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to enhance the recruitment experience.
  • Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) and hiring managers to provide expert recruiting and sourcing guidance.
  • Timely gather interview feedback and hiring decisions from managers, providing coaching to less experienced recruiters as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Oversee offer development, including salary analysis and negotiation, in partnership with hiring managers and HRBPs.
  • Utilize market data to inform advanced sourcing strategies and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Plan and execute employer branding initiatives to position Entergy as an employer of choice.
  • Manage requisitions through the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure compliance with OFCCP & AAP requirements.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:

TA Specialist II:
• 1+ years of relevant experience with a preferred bachelor's degree; or 2+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

TA Specialist III:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Essential Skills:
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in developing strategies for effective candidate sourcing and screening.
  • Strong understanding of TA concepts, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions while meeting departmental KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
