Maxicare Select, a healthcare provider in Miami, Florida, is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our Home Health team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in need, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, teach, and deliver therapy interventions and treatment.

About the Role

This is a per-diem position that offers flexible schedules, competitive pay, and a team environment. You will be responsible for administering occupational therapy treatment in accordance with physician orders and plan of care, improving or minimizing residual disabilities of patients, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' health status to determine their specific needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer occupational therapy treatment in accordance with physician orders and plan of care.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide coordinated and holistic care to patients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
Requirements
  • Valid and current ST license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health or related experience, preferred.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, flexible schedules, weekly direct deposit, W2 direct employee status, and a team environment.
