Key Responsibilities:

  • Unmasking: Diligently remove masking materials from components post-painting.
  • Inspection: Assess unmasked surfaces for any flaws or inconsistencies.
  • Touch-Up Painting: Apply corrective paint to rectify minor imperfections, ensuring color accuracy and uniformity.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with quality standards, documenting results and necessary corrections.
  • Sorting Parts: Organize and categorize components according to specified guidelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of inspections and evaluations.
  • Packaging: Securely package items for shipment, adhering to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Background in metal finishing or manufacturing is advantageous, along with familiarity with quality control standards.
  • Skills:
    • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Communication: Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Technical Proficiency: Basic math and computer skills, with experience using specialized tools.
    • Physical Requirements: Capability to stand for extended periods and interpret technical documents.
    • Quality Standards: Commitment to ensuring all products meet rigorous quality criteria.

Shift Schedule:

  • Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 12:30pm
  • Regular Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Compensation Package:

  • Wage: Starting at $17.50 per hour, with a review after 90 days for potential increase based on experience.
