Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the Service Department, including scheduling, training, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department managers, the owner-team, and the general manager to support corporate goals and objectives.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner, projecting a professional and customer-friendly attitude.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate orders, ensure prompt and timely receipt of materials, and secure the best prices.
  • Perform related management-level duties as directed by the general manager.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of combined practical and academic experience in the HVACR industry, including 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills to motivate employees and maintain high departmental morale.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and technology, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Current state driver's license and ability to drive all types of vehicles in the corporate fleet within six months of initial employment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with all personnel levels, customers, and suppliers.
