Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health LPN will be responsible for assessing mental health needs, developing individualized care plans, administering psychiatric medication, and providing therapy and counseling to patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments to determine mental health needs and establish a nursing diagnosis.
  • Develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects and responses.
  • Provide restorative care to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • IV certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
