We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Eagle Foods, LLC. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Operate RF scanners and other company equipment to accurately track inventory and manage shipments.
- Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Unload inbound and outbound shipments, and move products to storage locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Efficiently stack and store products in designated areas, and receive and troubleshoot problems to resolution.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, and receive incoming material and route it to the appropriate areas or personnel.
- Fill work orders from production, packaging assemblies, and receiving into finished goods, and ensure inventory transactions are accurately logged.
- Oversee cycle counts and reconciliation activities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Verify the quality of products being sent outbound meets customer expectations, and report any discoveries of non-conformance to company standards.
- Recommend measures to improve quality of service, increase efficiency of the department and work crew, and enhance equipment performance.
- Keep accurate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security measures are maintained.
- Assist in physical inventory counts, and ensure proper stock rotations.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment that complies with OSHA, MSDS, and company standards.
- Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience in food manufacturing a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
