Mass General Brigham Seeks Experienced Vascular Access Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of safe and effective infusion therapy and vascular access services.

About the Role

This is an ongoing, 39-hour per week position with a 12-hour shift. As a Vascular Access Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and support the cultural diversity and individual needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide independent nursing interventions related to infusion therapy and vascular access using appropriate clinical reasoning, nursing judgment, and critical decision-making skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve the universal goal of safe, effective, and appropriate infusion therapy and vascular access.
  • Perform intraosseous insertions during rapid responses and codes.
  • Support and partner with staff nurses to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts RN License required.
  • AD with 3-5 years experience or BSN degree in nursing required.
  • Knowledge of IV Therapy Nursing.
  • IV Therapy Nursing experience preferred.
  • Dedication to both bedside teaching and formal hospital education programs.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to develop and support unit-based quality improvement/research projects.
