We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing and documenting vascular ultrasound procedures in our Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory.

Under the supervision of the Director of Vascular Surgery and the Medical Director of the Vascular Surgery Vein Center, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, preparing and maintaining examination rooms, and interacting with hospital staff to promote appropriate use of laboratory services.

• Perform non-invasive peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures efficiently and accurately, following all documented protocols.
• Review patient charts and medical history to determine the appropriate examination and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, recognizing the special nature of sonographic examinations and patient needs.
• Work independently to acquire diagnostic sonographic information and communicate findings to ordering physicians.
• Maintain knowledge of vascular ultrasound technology and adhere to hospital infection control guidelines.

• RVT or RVT eligible certification.
• BS in biological sciences or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work efficiently under stress and pressure, and to cope with emergency situations.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
